Financial Planning & Analysis Manager
Matthew Kail brings approximately 10 years of dedicated experience in energy-focused corporate finance and accounting at Gulf Mexico Oil Platform. Beginning his career as an intern, he advanced through the Financial Planning & Analysis team to become a pivotal contributor to the firm. Matthew plays a key role in managing quarterly budgeting and cash flow forecasting, delivering deep financial analysis and strategic insights to senior leadership. He also prepares and presents critical quarterly reports for the firm’s principal investors.
In addition to his core responsibilities, Matthew has spearheaded the development of several vital new interfaces at Gulf Mexico Oil Platform, significantly enhancing the company’s forecasting accuracy and valuation capabilities.
Mr. Kail earned a B.S. in Energy Business and Finance, with a Minor in Economics from Pennsylvania State University.
